Obtained his law degree from Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales of Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (1992).

Master’s Degree (LL.M) from the University of Illinois, School of Law (1996).

PRACTICE AREAS

His private practice as counsel to a different array of clients from all sectors exceeds 25 years and is focused primarily on M&A’s, spin-offs, corporate and financial reestructurings, insolvency procedures, trusts, real estate and tax planning, as well as corporate law in general.

·       Involved as counselor of bondholders committees on the negotiation and implementation of diverse financial restructurings.

·       Participated in the implementation of various estate, equity control, and guarantee trusts.

·       Assessment and implementation of various real estate projects.
